for FSX

Thank you for downloading this aircraft designed using G-Max by David Rowberry.

The file contains three models with animated pilots,
The landable models run on takeoff and landing, the prone pilot is fixed but weight shifts. Digital instrumentation in both 2D and VC views

Installation
--------------

Either unzip to a temporary folder, (and then transfer them) or straight to your Flt Sim AIRCRAFT folder .

*****************************************

Operation
---------
The landable pilot retracts into prone using the "gear" selector.

VG system (variable glide)
Uses the "flaps" selector, (the pilot reaches for the rope and the rope shortens). used for slowing down to land .
In real life this alters the sail tension using a pulley system to make the glider more docile for take off, landing and flying close in to the hill.

The auto launch system takes you to about 1500ft.The system is controlled by fuel quantity so if you require a cliff or mountain takeoff, just reduce the fuel to give you enough for a few running steps, or if you prefer to have a "go round capability" select "unlimited fuel" in Settings /Realism

Audio vario
------------
To mute the audio vario select the 2D cockpit view and click on the red button.

*********************************************

Flying
---------
Both the "landable" and the "prone" pilots can be aero-towed .

For a hill or "winch" launch choose the "foot launched pilot", select fuel quantity , start the "winch"(Ctrl+E), release the brakes, advance full throttle and select Gear-UP, try to climb out at about 35 Knots, when the fuel runs out, level off and go and find a thermal, or pick your landing zone (I always use a helicopter square), and try for that perfect stalled landing.
If you prefer to fly from an external view switch to the "prone pilot" so you can see him weight shifting, but don't forget to switch back for landing.
